Resch
Delores M. Resch, Stanchfield, MN. Born in Rock Creek, longtime resident
of Rush City and NE Minneapolis. Passed away on Monday, February 28th, 2005
at the age of 80 of a sudden heart attack. She was preceded in death by
her loving husband of almost 55 years, Anthony M. Resch. Also preceded by
her parents William and Esther (Carlson) Bloomquist, brother Donald Bloomquist,
sister Margaret Scofield and granddaughter Michelle Timmons. She is survived
by her sister, Eleanor Christensen; children, Tim Resch, Marilyn Timmons
and partner Bruce Neunsinger, Rosalie Resch, and Bradley Resch; grandchildren,
Mark Timmons, Trevor Neunsinger, Ali Resch, and Kara LaBeau; and great-grandson
Kentin LaBeau. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
After graduating from high school in Pine City, Delores worked at the Minneapolis
Sears offices during the war years. On the weekends she enjoyed the local
dances. It was at a dance at the Topic Ballroom in Pine City that she met
Tony. They were married in Rush City in 1947. Together, Tony and Delores
raised four children in both Rush City, and then in Minneapolis. She fulfilled
the role of loving wife and homemaker. In 1983, Tony and Delores retired
to their home on Rush Lake. For many of their retirement years they frequented
the area senior citizens dances. The family wishes to thank the staff at
FMC Dialysis Center in Prince- ton and the Fairview Home Health Care staff
for their wonderful care and friendship this past year. Visitation will
be at the Rock Mankie Funeral Home (120 Broadway, Braham, MN #320-396- 2121)
from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3rd, 2005 with a prayer service at 6:30
p.m. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 4th at Saint Peter
and Paul Catholic Church (1050 Southview Ave., Braham, MN #320-396- 3105).
Visitation one hour before the service. Burial will in the church cemetery.
